The Compaq Presario C500 is a nice laptop. Ever since I got it, I've been using it throughout my daily work. I suggest you upgrade the ram to at LEAST 1Gb of ram because everyone knows that Vista runs up a lot of it. I bought this for around $400-450 and it has its uses up until now. This is not a laptop for gamers but for working needs. The cpu holds enough for a decent working project. I suggest you buy this for non- gaming related uses. Overall, It's a nice notebook.
