Pavilion dv6500t entertainment notebook is aesthetically crafted, its backlit media controls and a stylish case looks great. Screen is decent and bright enough for watching movies enjoyably. The Pavillion dv6500t entertainment notebook has been nothing but trouble. The hard drive has been replaced and now a power problem has occured, which HP says is a cracked LCD screen (the computer was intact when it left my possession). Also, HP will not repair the computer because it is not covered under the 2 year extended warranty that I purchased for an additional $150.00 The computer is not even a year old. HP has the rudest, most incompetent customer service dept I have ever delt with. There is no "customer" in customer service. I would advise everyone to steer clear of the HP product unless you have $1600.00 to waste.

I have read some reviews from Pavilion owners who think the fan is too loud. One owner was so annoyed with it that he returned the laptop. Anyone experience similar problems?
