Its all about performance, speed and entertainment

Review:

I got this model somewhat about three to four months back, and not as a proud owner, but as any other normal customer looking to buy a laptop, I would recommend him/her to try Lenovo 3000 N 100 series laptops.
People who are looking for optimum performance, better speed, fine sound quality within a low budget, then N 100 series would be the best choice for them. Students, corporate guys can make the best use of it, as these N100 laptops are built hard and tough and light and easy to carry, and work on the move.
I have been using Model AQ1 of the N 100 series family of Lenovo laptop. Built with a configuration, that suits all my purposes as a student, I have been terribly pleased using this laptop. Sorted with a Centrino Duo processor, 1.73 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB hard disk, this laptop is genuinely a masterpiece amongst other fellow laptops in its same price range.
I have been running several applications in my laptop, but never felt it low in performance or speed, and the task manager window quite well proves my words.
The clarity and quality of the sound is very good, and its a loud and clear music even when I am travelling in a packed train. As I am unbiased in this review, I will complain about its charge retaining capacity which is not that good, and I hardly get a battery backup of 2 hours to 3 hours. May be, high priced models of the Lenovo family have overcome this drawback, but all the more I dont have a single complain regarding its perrformance, service and hardware.
I can quite boldy say that Lenovo N 100 series laptops are quite better than the other high priced other branded fellow competitors in the market. It is made to deliver optimum performance, and meets the criterion of students and corporate people.
This laptop deserves a GOOD review.
Thanks !

Multi-purpose All in One Laptop

Review:

I bought this laptop because I felt that the company that purchased IBM’s PC division must be a good one and their product offering should also be good. This view was reinforced by the use of the laptop.

Intel Core Duo processor T2300, with 4GB of expandable RAM, conveniently placed ports, 15.4" screen which does not look like a negative from sides, integreted webcam and biometric reader, cool looks and what not ! But at points I felt to throw away this laptop because of very poor battery performance, after six months I encountered the problems with the battery which was dead (not even charging), inbuilt camera stopped working, fingerprint reader started behaving like anything and LAN port went defective. So I approached the Service Centre, and I must say, the service is excellent, they replaced it without asking a single question (warranty period of 1 year). But the battery faulted again after 3 months of replacement, I again had to visit the Service Centre. I managed to change the battery. The Service Centre told me that the previous batteries were manufactured by Sony and were defective. This time they gave me a Sanyo battery and I must say it is giving me a life of 2 hrs on full multimedia applications. Thats great. Awesome !!

The best feature is the keyboard which is very good and convenient to use. Another good thing is the laptop is very easy to use. However one thing this laptop can't offer is good sound quality. The sound is too low that you have to strain your ears to listen to it. However u can always use earphones.

Thumbs up to Lenovo for giving this good laptop. Very satisfied by its performance. I am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate on this machine and it is giving great performance.
