I got this model somewhat about three to four months back, and not as a proud owner, but as any other normal customer looking to buy a laptop, I would recommend him/her to try Lenovo 3000 N 100 series laptops. People who are looking for optimum performance, better speed, fine sound quality within a low budget, then N 100 series would be the best choice for them. Students, corporate guys can make the best use of it, as these N100 laptops are built hard and tough and light and easy to carry, and work on the move. I have been using Model AQ1 of the N 100 series family of Lenovo laptop. Built with a configuration, that suits all my purposes as a student, I have been terribly pleased using this laptop. Sorted with a Centrino Duo processor, 1.73 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB hard disk, this laptop is genuinely a masterpiece amongst other fellow laptops in its same price range. I have been running several applications in my laptop, but never felt it low in performance or speed, and the task manager window quite well proves my words. The clarity and quality of the sound is very good, and its a loud and clear music even when I am travelling in a packed train. As I am unbiased in this review, I will complain about its charge retaining capacity which is not that good, and I hardly get a battery backup of 2 hours to 3 hours. May be, high priced models of the Lenovo family have overcome this drawback, but all the more I dont have a single complain regarding its perrformance, service and hardware. I can quite boldy say that Lenovo N 100 series laptops are quite better than the other high priced other branded fellow competitors in the market. It is made to deliver optimum performance, and meets the criterion of students and corporate people. This laptop deserves a GOOD review. Thanks !

The thinkpad T60 is another update to the longstanding Thinkpad T series laptops. These are not your average laptop. IBM sold the division to Lenovo, and Lenovo didn't mess with a good thing. Thinkpad is a top brand, globally recognized as a leader in laptop design, durability, quality and reliability. Although best suited to the business class user, the T60 does pack some consumer targeted bells and whistles. For the business class, first and foremost is the security chip, and figerprint reader, and to ensure that your data is safe, IBM has hard drive shock detection which disables the hard drive in event of a fal, or a sudden drop. The consumer can enjoy the widescreen, and of course wireless freedom, and 3 usb ports. Specifications include: Intel Centrino Duo T2300E(1.66GHz), 512MB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 Widescreen LCD, Intel 950 Chipset, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Internal Modem and 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, 6 cell Li-Ion battery, and Windows XP Professional.
Multi-purpose All in One Laptop

Review:
I bought this laptop because I felt that the company that purchased IBM’s PC division must be a good one and their product offering should also be good. This view was reinforced by the use of the laptop. Intel Core Duo processor T2300, with 4GB of expandable RAM, conveniently placed ports, 15.4" screen which does not look like a negative from sides, integreted webcam and biometric reader, cool looks and what not ! But at points I felt to throw away this laptop because of very poor battery performance, after six months I encountered the problems with the battery which was dead (not even charging), inbuilt camera stopped working, fingerprint reader started behaving like anything and LAN port went defective. So I approached the Service Centre, and I must say, the service is excellent, they replaced it without asking a single question (warranty period of 1 year). But the battery faulted again after 3 months of replacement, I again had to visit the Service Centre. I managed to change the battery. The Service Centre told me that the previous batteries were manufactured by Sony and were defective. This time they gave me a Sanyo battery and I must say it is giving me a life of 2 hrs on full multimedia applications. Thats great. Awesome !! The best feature is the keyboard which is very good and convenient to use. Another good thing is the laptop is very easy to use. However one thing this laptop can't offer is good sound quality. The sound is too low that you have to strain your ears to listen to it. However u can always use earphones. Thumbs up to Lenovo for giving this good laptop. Very satisfied by its performance. I am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate on this machine and it is giving great performance.
Amazed by the performance...Recommended

It looks like a carbon copy of the Lenovo’s V series 100 . You will not get to excited about it when you see it because of the plain look . It has a widescreen XGA display with a glossy screen finish with richer deeper colors . The speakers and not the best and also not the worst . Loudness and clarity are both good but not when its on full volume , so if you want to watch a DVD you will need head phones . Its quiet even when it is running for hours so not to worry there also . The battery life is for about 3 hours and 20 mins only . Over all I would say its a good buy
A good cheap laptop

With the price at $949 it has to be the best laptop that you can buy with built in intel processors and the new Centrino Duo platform . Its performance would not be the same as the more pricer ones but it can hold its own ground . I would not advise any one to use it to play 3D games on it , it lacks the full speakers and media controls and other consumer-friendly features that you would find with other companies . All lenovo laptops have got nice roomy keyboard reminiscent of the board found on higher-end ThinkPads. I would also say that its mainly for small business users .

I am using this notebook mostly for university studies, casual gaming, web surfing and some mathematics programming. I was not looking for a gaming notebook so I chose the Intel X3100 graphics card as it provides more than enough power to satisfy Vista’s graphics requirements. Furthermore, the integrated graphics allows the notebook to remain much cooler than my friend’s T60p (ATI FireGL 5200) and last much longer on battery despite its mere 4-cell battery (compared to the T60p’s 9-cell).

The excellent key pad is very convienet for users hand, the 15" LCD Display was giving amazing quality. I recommend its more worth for the money. It tastes good for the performance exhibited by the IBM Technology. As the industrial leader and global it gaint’s product will not comprimise in the product quality. W’-fi technology is kool enough to work on hot spots. But its not cool buddy for the youngstres to use as a college notebook. Its only intended to the industrial use. The product is designed for the software industry professionals. The flexibility and the user convienence is much more attracting the industry towards IBM notebooks. This notebook comes with the intel centrino mobile technology which uses the loss power consumption. The Intel Inside Pentium 4 processor giving enough performance for the full supported Microsoft Windows xp professional edition operating system.

The Lenovo line of laptops is synonymous with quality, durability, portability and design. In the recent purchase of IBM PC\desktop divisions to Lenovo, Lenovo has maintained the IBM brand perfectly. The Thinkpad T61 boasts the following hardware: Intel T7100(1.8GHz) Dual Core Centrino processor, 1GB RAM (up to 3 Gb usable memmory) a 120 GB 5400rpm Hard Drive, 15.4 inch widescreen LCD (1280x800), Intel X3100 graphics chipset, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, built in modem, 1 Gb integrated ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Windows Vista Business edition. The T61 is not a typical laptop, and is designed for the business professional, hence the extra security with the secure chip, and fingerprint reader. One nice addition is the firewire port, memory card reader. Although it does come at a cost, only 3 available usb ports. A business class machine with some bells and whistles for the consumer as well.
